Went to the A.Y.U. reunion concert last night at EMU last night. And before you start wondering, no I hadn’t heard of them before either. They are an A Capella group. One of the members was on the Invisible Man tv show and so I know him through the fan club, and that’s how I heard about the concert. Defintately glad I went. Not only was the music great, but the banter between them was cool as well. They defintately put on a wonderful show.

They said they’ll be putting video from the concert on YouTube so when they do I’ll try and remember to post links.

Went to the Point of Grace I Choose You Tour. Had lots of fun, even got to do a meet and greet with the artists before the show. Got autographs from all the Point of Grace girls and a picture with each of them plus got a picture with the other two artists there, Scott Krippayne and Charity Von. Didn’t care for Charity’s music as much as Point of Grace’s or Scott’s but she is kind of cute, and her birthday is the day before mine so that was cool.

The concert was at a church so the seating was basically sit where you can find a seat and I was able to get a seat in the third row from the middle in the middle aisle of seats on the end, so got some pictures there too which I’m sure will be up eventually..

Overall it was a blast, got to hear some good music, found out about a new artist I like and found out that later this year Steven Curtis Chapman will be there doing a concert, woohoo!!

Saw Steven Curtis Chapman’s All Things New tour again Thursday night. Was just as awesome as the last time, maybe more so.

We had closer seats this time, eighth row on the floor, and I was on the end of the middle aisle so I was able to get up and move even closer standing at the fourth row. Got some really nice pictures that I’ll try and get up sometime..

I also liked the warm up acts better this time, I mean they were the same as the other concert but I enjoyed them more for some reason. I even used two of my free iTunes song codes to download a couple of Chris Tomlin’s songs. I was also going to get some Casting Crown’s songs, but after hearing previews I’ve decided I like enough of the songs to just buy the cd.

I had also won the auction again for the after show meet and greet with SCC. The cool part was he remembered me from the last concert, he didn’t quite remember where he knew me from but he did remember me so that was awesome.

Woo! They finally put the tickets up for the Steven Curtis Chapman concert in December. Can’t wait to go, was able to get seats on the main floor as well so I’m excited.
