Sitting alone with my thoughts,
Yet surrounded by a crowd.
My mind my refuge,
From life so loud.

Knowing eventually I’ll have to return,
To see reality unfurled.
But for right now I’ll stay in my corner,
In my own world.

Clouds coming down from the sky,
Staying low to the ground instead of up high.
As I continue along with a sigh,
Wishing over it all I could fly.
Look at that one guy,
To be the fastest he seems to vie.
In a hurry but I can’t see why,
He could cause a wreck and some could die.
I could say I understood but it’d be a lie,
But don’t mind me just pass on by.

Going back and forth,
Looking for the perfect spot.
Circling around yet again,
Why are so many people in this lot?

Cars honking and speeding past,
But I’ll be patient and stay my course.
Others giving me dirty looks,
But let’s see them back up a horse.

Why did you do it?
I thought I could trust you.
I confided in you,
Told all my secrets,
Every little bit.

But then I found you’d told,
To any who would hear.
And now I fear,
With much regret,
My confidence in you must fold.

Oh how I dread it,
Anything but that.
Today, Tomorrow, every day it seems.
My taste buds would almost rather eat a hat.
Even my dog won’t eat the scraps anymore,
As another bowl is served.
Longing am I for something new for breakfast.

To all the princesses out there,
Who think they just have to settle.
Don’t feel like this is so,
Kissing every frog and toad.
Just be patient,
Your prince will one day come.
But if he sees you kissing the frogs,
He might just pack up and head on down the road.

I see the clouds rolling in,
Signs of something far more sinister than rain.
A perfect symbol for my current mood,
And of this internal pain.
I keep hoping to see a ray of light,
A glimmer of some hope.
But right now I just don’t know,
Life just seems a slippery slope.
Perhaps one day the winds of change will blow,
And send these clouds away.
But I don’t know when,
Tomorrow looks like another cloudy day.

There once was a doctor named Jack,
Who everyone thought was a quack.
He tried curing a flu,
by painting the patient blue.
Wonder when they’ll take his degree back.

They say that ‘revenge is a sucker’s game’.
With which I have to agree.
Because the problem with ‘an eye for an eye’,
Is after a while no one can see.

Three powerful words,
Fear, uncertainty and doubt.
Don’t succumb to them.

You think you know me,
You think you have me pegged.
But really you have no clue,
You only know what I let you see.

You think you have me figured out,
That I’m easy to understand.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth,
You have no idea what I’m all about.

So please don’t just assume,
That you know it all.
Cause when you do,
I just want to leave the room.

I still have to play with the new features but so far looks good, there a few things I’m not sure I like but overall very nice.

Also have to give a tip of the hat to Mindstorm, I’m liking them much better than my previous host, they seem to be more customer service oriented.

Ooooh… WizKids just announced the colossal HeroClix figure for this year. The one I was hoping for.. Scalier than Galactus, Greener than The Spectre.. Yes.. It’s He Whose Limbs Shatter Mountains and Whose Back Scrapes the Sun, THE MOST FEARFUL MENACE OF THEM ALL! Fin! Fang! Foom!

I’ll definitely be doing my best to acquire one for my collection.

Thanks to Veronica for this info. A new social networking site is in the wild. The difference? This one is genealogy based. It’s called Geni and it’s pretty much a social family tree, so that you’re entire family can add to it and update it. Also apparently if you add someone who’s already a member it will merge the trees.

And for those worried about your info being out there it looks like only people in a tree can see that tree, so only people you’re related to in someway can see you.

Just found this cool site that every other Friday puts up about three free Christian songs. You can find it here. Today they have songs from Michael W. Smith, Michael Olson and Ayiesha Woods. If you want the free songs though you have to hurry, they only stay up for 24 hours.
