Wishing Well Prayers
She tosses in her coin,
Hearing the subtle splash.
She knows it’s silly,
She’s throwing out her cash.
But if there’s any hope,
Any chance at all.
She hopes maybe God will hear,
Hear and heed her call.
She knows it’s all in His hands,
And knows that His will’ll be done.
But she still hopes and prays,
For another day with her son.
He’s been sick so very long,
But still they never despair.
But when it does get hard to go on,
She comes here and tosses in a coin below and above.. a prayer.
