Memories
As she sits back and thinks,
Of days gone by.
With the love of her life,
She remembers with a sigh.
Of their first date,
And their first kiss.
How he swept her of her feet,
Never had she felt such bliss.
Recalling their wedding day,
It seems so long ago.
When he became her husband,
Instead of just her beau.
So many good times together,
Filed with laughter and love.
But now he is no longer with her,
Gone to heaven above.
Sure they had their fights,
And times not so grand.
But she chooses to remember only the good,
To forget the bad is what she has planned.
