Roamin’

Walking down the street,
Heading no where specific.
Every step an adventure,
Roaming to get my kicks.
End of the road seems so far,
Many more miles will I see.
Yet each one is special,
Here and there and back again I’ll be.
Each day a memory,
And each friend I meet a treat.
Ready to help each other,
Trying to go on, feet in front of feet.
Wherever I end up,
I’ll enjoy the trip.
Lest I become discouraged,
Like a waitress without a tip.
Tomorrow will soon come,
And the journey begins a new.
Kindness is a traveling partner,
Endless caring should be too.
My journey will someday end,
Ever though, will it be with you dear friend.
